Job summary

Workindia is seeking a proactive Junior PR Executive in Mumbai to support media relations, influencer outreach, content development, campaign execution, and reporting. The role involves coordinating with journalists, influencers, clients, and internal teams from a base in Churchgate, Mumbai.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking across campaigns, events, and reporting. Fresh graduates with PR internships are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with PR or communications internships may apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of PR, media relations, influencer marketing, and digital communication.
• Strong research, documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Awareness of current news, media trends, social platforms, and influencer culture.
• A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Research and build relationships with journalists, publications, podcasts, and media platforms.
• Create and pitch press releases, brand stories, interviews, and media opportunities.
• Manage media outreach, follow-ups, and journalist coordination.
• Identify relevant influencers and coordinate outreach, briefs, deliverables, timelines, and campaign requirements.
• Track influencer content and campaign performance.
• Draft pitches, articles, press releases, talking points, emails, and other PR communication.
• Create media kits, company profiles, FAQs, and presentations.
• Support PR campaigns, launches, events, and media interactions.
• Maintain trackers and prepare regular reports on outreach, coverage, and campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Relations
  • Research and build relationships with journalists, publications, podcasts, and media platforms.

  • Identify relevant influencers and creators based on brand fit and engagement.

• Content and Communication
