Office Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience Required: 2-4 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Product Manager – B2B Lending to build and scale our products from 0→1.

This is a hands‑on product role for someone who enjoys getting deep into complex business processes, understanding lending journeys end‑to‑end, and translating them into simple, scalable and technology‑driven products.

The role will work closely with Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, Business, Partnerships and external partners to build highly efficient lending systems that can support significant scale. The individual will own the product lifecycle end‑to‑end—from understanding business requirements and mapping processes to writing PRDs, defining product journeys, working with engineering, managing integrations and taking products live.

What You’ll Own
1. Build the Product from 0→1
  • Own the product development journey for Medical,Education (currently) and new segment lending from concept to launch.
  • Understand complex lending processes and convert them into efficient, scalable product workflows.
  • Define product vision, requirements, workflows and roadmap in collaboration with business and technology teams.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve existing processes.
  • Prioritise features based on business impact, customer/partner needs, complexity and time-to-market.
2. Own the End-to-End Lending Lifecycle

Take product ownership across the complete lending journey, including:

  • Customer/partner onboarding
  • Lead and application journeys
  • KYC and documentation
  • Credit assessment and underwriting
  • Credit policy and risk rules
  • Loan approval
  • Sanction and documentation
  • Disbursement
  • Repayment and mandate management
  • Collections and overdue management
  • Prepayment/foreclosure
  • Customer and partner servicing
  • Reporting and analytics

Work closely with Credit and Risk teams to ensure that product journeys are designed to balance business growth, customer experience, operational efficiency and risk controls.

3. Product Requirements & PRDs
  • Deeply understand business processes before translating them into product requirements.
  • Create detailed PRDs, user journeys, process flows, wireframes and functional requirements.
  • Define edge cases, business rules, validations, dependencies and expected system behaviour.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Participate in UAT, identify gaps and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Ensure the product is built with scalability and future business requirements in mind.
4. Technology & Integrations
  • Work closely with Engineering and Technology teams to build the lending platform.
  • Define requirements for APIs, system integrations, workflows and third‑party integrations.
  • Understand system dependencies across the lending ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual intervention and improve TAT.
  • Ensure seamless integration between internal systems, partners and external service providers.
  • Help build systems that can support rapid business scale without compromising operational efficiency.
5. Partner & B2B Product Experience

The product will operate through a partnership‑led distribution model, requiring you to work closely with:

  • Hospitals and healthcare partners
  • Medical institutions
  • Education institutes
  • Patients and their families
  • Students and parents
  • Internal business and operations teams

You will be expected to understand the needs of each stakeholder and build product journeys that work effectively across the B2B2C ecosystem.

6. Product Execution & Launch
  • Own the product execution roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Prioritise critical features required to launch the platform.
  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, Operations and Business teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track product development from requirement definition through development, testing, UAT and go‑live.
  • Identify and remove product/process bottlenecks that could delay launch.
  • Continuously improve the product based on business requirements, partner feedback and data.
What Success Looks Like

The primary objective of this role is to build and launch a highly efficient lending platform within defined timelines while creating a strong foundation for scale.

Key success metrics will include:

  • Speed of product development and launch
  • Ability to prioritise critical features effectively
  • Reduction in manual processes and operational dependencies
  • Product readiness for business scale
  • Quality and completeness of PRDs and product requirements
  • Successful implementation of complex lending workflows
  • Seamless integration with partners and internal systems
  • Product adoption and usage
  • Improvement in process TAT and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Must Have

  • Prior experience working on NBFC, lending or fintech products, preferably within the lending domain.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle.
  • Experience working closely with Credit, Risk, Operations and Technology teams.
  • Experience creating PRDs, product workflows, user journeys and functional requirements.
  • Strong ability to understand complex business processes and convert them into scalable product solutions.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and managing product delivery from requirement to launch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
Technical & Product Skills
  • Strong product research and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience working with healthcare/medical lending or education financing.
  • Exposure to credit decisioning, risk engines, LOS/LMS and lending technology platforms.
  • Experience working with third‑party fintech/payment/bureau/KYC integrations.
  • Experience in building products from 0→1.
  • Strong understanding of lending regulations and NBFC processes.
Who Will Succeed in This Role?

This role is best suited for someone who:

  • Enjoys going deep into business processes and problem statements rather than just managing feature backlogs.
  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity and building something from scratch.
  • Has strong product thinking with a bias toward execution.
  • Can move seamlessly between business discussions and technology conversations.
  • Is curious about how lending businesses actually work—from credit and risk to operations and collections.
  • Can challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and simplification.
