Job summary

PayU is seeking an Associate Product Manager for our Lending Platform in Mumbai to lead integration with Lending Service Providers, scale existing programs, and drive API-based lending solutions. You will own roadmaps, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering customer-focused product journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 3+ years of product management experience in fintech / lending mandatory.
• Experience with growth hacking, performance marketing, or conversion optimization.
• Hands-on UX tools like Figma and AI tools like ChatGPT/Claude Code for quick journeys.
• Preferred experience with Business Rules Engines (BRE) and understanding of credit underwriting processes, repayments and collections.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

As a Product Manager for our Digital Ecosystem business, you will be responsible for integration with our Lending Service Providers for business loan products. In our lending journey and will be responsible for scaling and adding existing / new programs. Loan origination systems, KYC, user onboarding and drive API based lending platform solutions and integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, oversee product development, and ensure successful product launches that meet customer needs within the regulated framework.

Role & Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps for the platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Education & Experience

Technical Proficiency: Strong technical acumen with an understanding of software architecture, data systems, and modern software development practices. Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, and scalable platforms is highly desirable.

User-Centric Design: Experience with user-centred design principles and practices. Ability to work closely with UX/UI teams to ensure the product meets high usability standards and addresses user pain points effectively.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to monitor success metrics and make data-driven decisions. Ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable changes.

Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to define project scopes, allocate resources, manage timelines, and mitigate risks. Experience with JIRA/Agile and Scrum methodologies is must.

Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels of the organization. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
