Job summary

GMR Airports Infrastructure is seeking a Team Member- Project Planning to lead planning, scheduling, monitoring and coordination for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role ensures timely project completion by eliminating bottlenecks and maintaining master and detailed schedules.

The incumbent will plan resources, coordinate with design teams, and drive periodic reviews to resolve issues. Strong emphasis on adherence to timelines, cost control, and quality standards is essential.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./B.E. (Civil) or PG Diploma in Construction Management from NICMAR or reputed institute.
• 6-10 years of experience in project planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and update master schedule monthly for projects.
• Review contractor schedules and align with master schedule.
• Plan material and manpower resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor adherence to timelines, cost, and quality; identify deviations.
• Coordinate with Design & Architecture teams for timely designs.
• Participate in periodic project reviews to resolve bottlenecks.
• Provide inputs for process improvements, cost savings and waste reduction.
• Support Head-Projects in monitoring Quality & HSE compliance.
• Prepare and consolidate MIS and project reports for corporate.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

The Team Member- Project planning will the Planning head in effectively planning, scheduling, monitoring and coordination of all the ongoing and upcoming projects. The role holder will play a very critical role in project completion within the timelines by ensuring robust project planning, monitoring and effectively sorting-out all bottlenecks related to project execution.

Project Planning and Monitoring:

Prepare and update Master Schedule for the project on monthly basis Review the detailed project schedule submitted by Contactor and ensure it is in line with the Master Schedule Plan the resource requirement- material and manpower, throughout the project lifecycle on monthly basis

Continuously monitor the project for adherence to the planned timelines, cost, resource requirement and quality standards; analyze deviations on a periodic basis and highlight the same to Project Site Head for timely resolution Coordinate with the central Design & Architecture team for timely receipt of project designs\

Coordinate with respective Project Coordinators, participate in periodic project review meetings at the Corporate to ensure resolution of all project related bottlenecks in a timely manner Provide inputs to Head-Projects for effective project planning and assist in the review of various activities related to project execution Provide inputs to Head-Projects for identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, waste reduction etc. Support Project Site Head in monitoring adherence to Quality and HSE compliance

MIS and Reporting: Interact with the Project Execution Team members (Civil, Services, Billing etc) for Project related information in order to collate data and create all Project related Reports/MIS Ensure timely preparation/consolidation of all MIS and reports for site activities and ensure circulation of same Support Project Site Head in consolidating information/reports on requests from various Functions at Corporate

Survey the environment for latest developments and best practices in construction equipment, techniques and tools; Provide inputs to Head-Projects on the feasibility of implementing the same.

B.Tech./B.E. (Civil) /PG Diploma in Construction Mgt from NICMAR or reputed institute
