Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking an Officer / Sr. Officer-Instrumentation in Ahmednagar. You will manage instrumentation engineering, maintenance and calibration for API manufacturing, ensuring smooth plant operations and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires 4–5 years in instrumentation within an API plant, with hands-on experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, SAP, and change control processes. Join a dynamic team focused on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or electronics with relevant API industry exposure.
• Experience in engineering instrumentation, maintenance and calibration.
• Familiarity with SAP modules related to manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns related to process and utility equipment.
• Handle SAP activities and calibration of manufacturing processes.
• Maintain and monitor process and utility equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA, automation).
• Manage Trackwise Change Control and Deviations in engineering investigations.
• Coordinate and participate in regulatory, safety, and statutory audits.
• Attend duties per shift schedule and support CSV validation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Attending the breakdown related to process and utility equipment.
• Handle SAP activities, Calibration of manufacturing activities etc.
• Handle and monitor maintenance activities of process equipment and utility equipment such as PLC, HMI, SCADA and all automation systems.
• Handle QMS activities in Trackwise such as Change control, Deviations etc.in engineering department, to perform and support engineering related investigations.
• Co-ordinate and face the audits such as regulatory audit, statutory audits, safety audits etc.
• Handle SAP activities, Calibration of manufacturing activities etc.
• To attend the duties as per shift schedule.
• To take care of PCS related activities and to take care CSV Validation activities.
