Job summary

Arsh Designingthefuture in Indore is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support the design team on residential and commercial projects. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on space planning, concept development, and documentation.

You will create mood boards, prepare drawings, select finishes, and coordinate with vendors under senior designers. You will help with 3D visuals and site visits for measurements and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with interior design concepts, including Space Planning and Interior Design.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and how they inform interior layouts.
• Competence in preparing and reading Construction Drawings.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specifications.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, visualization skills, and an eye for color, materials, and finishes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with team members, clients, and contractors.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to project changes on site.

Role Description

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and documentation for projects based in Indore. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with space planning, preparing drawings, selecting finishes and FF&E, and coordinating with vendors and contractors under the guidance of senior designers. The person in this role will help create mood boards, presentations, and 3D visuals, and participate in site visits for measurements, inspections, and implementation follow-up. Additional responsibilities include maintaining project files, updating design revisions, and ensuring design standards and client requirements are consistently met.
