Job summary

Aanganshobha Interior in Pune is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our on-site team. You will assist with space planning, create design concepts and mood boards, and help develop detailed drawings and specifications for residential and commercial projects.

You will coordinate FF&E selections, support site measurements, and collaborate with senior designers, vendors and contractors to ensure the design intent is realized.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and communicate design ideas clearly.

Role Description

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing and executing residential and commercial interior projects as a full-time, on-site role in the Pune Division. Daily responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing design concepts and mood boards, and helping create detailed drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating FF&E selections, supporting site measurements, and collaborating with senior designers, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately implemented. The Junior Interior Designer will help prepare client presentations, update documentation, and contribute to project timelines, quality standards, and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to support accurate plans, sections, and technical detailing.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification to align with design concepts and budgets.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and communicate design ideas clearly.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate within a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to multiple project requirements.
• Familiarity with materials, finishes, and local market vendors in Pune is an advantage; prior internship or project experience is a plus.
