Job summary

Studio Dimensions is seeking an Interior Designer to develop design concepts, prepare layouts, and produce detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. The role includes space planning, material selections, mood boards, and coordinating FF&E with architects, contractors, and vendors.

Site visits and client meetings ensure designs meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines. You will work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborating with project teams to translate client visions

Qualifications

• Ability to develop functional layouts and efficient space planning solutions.
• Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination with architectural teams.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation.
• Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and visual presentation.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, work on-site with project teams, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and prepare layouts for residential and commercial projects.

Role Description

The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and producing detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing mood boards, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves site visits, measurement and documentation, and ensuring that designs are executed according to specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into refined solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad.
