Job summary

Ratnsorb Architecture and Design in Mumbai is seeking a Jr. Interior Designer to support the design team with interior concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings across residential, commercial, and retail projects.

You’ll assist with mood boards, finish selections, FF&E specs, and construction drawings, coordinating with senior staff, project managers, and vendors to uphold design intent. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in space planning, including layout development and optimization of functionality and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, MS Office).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance from senior team members.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from feedback and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

The role involves coordinating with senior designers, architects, project managers, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The Jr. Interior Designer will participate in site visits, measurements, and quality checks, as well as help prepare client presentations and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
