Job summary

Stellar Interior Studio invites an aspiring Junior Interior Designer to join our Ahmedabad studio on a full-time, on-site basis. You will support concept development, mood boards, and space planning for varied projects while assisting with drawings, FF&E selections, and presentations.

Working with senior designers, you will visit sites, coordinate with vendors, and help ensure accurate implementation of design details in a fast-paced studio environment. A relevant diploma or degree is required.

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and modifying drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, preparing presentations, and supporting project documentation. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, visiting project sites, and communicating with vendors to ensure accurate implementation of design details. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring a strong interest in interior design and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate design concepts into clear technical documentation.
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) to assist with selections, specifications, and sourcing.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Basic skills in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and project timelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site within a team environment.
• Prior internship or project experience in interior design is an advantage.
