Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This full-time Interior Designer role is an on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, layouts, and material palettes for residential, commercial, and institutional spaces, aligned with client objectives and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing and reviewing construction and detail drawings, and collaborating with agenci, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their functional and aesthetic needs, preparing presentations and mood boards, and supporting project documentation, site visits, and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic design solutions.
• Candidates should possess Space Planning expertise to optimize layouts, circulation, and usability across different types of interior environments.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations suitable for execution and coordination with site teams.
• Candidates should possess FF&E knowledge, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and materials.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Suite) is beneficial.
• Strong visualization, detailing, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors on-site.
• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in interior projects, especially in consultancy or project management environments, is an advantage.
