Job summary

Laurus Bio invites applications for Junior Executive/Executive SCM (Purchase) to manage procurement activities from vendors in Bengaluru. The role involves creating POs, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely payments and documentation.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of SCM experience, preferably in biotech/pharma/FMCG, with strong Excel and SAP familiarity to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Life sciences.
• 2–5 years of experience in SCM/Purchase.
• Industry experience in biotech/pharma/FMCG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create PO as per user requirement and ensure shipments from vendors.
• Create advance payments in SAP and obtain approvals.
• Document filling after approvals.
• SEZ documentation for capex and raw material procurement.
• Open PO follow up.
• Invoice clearance for GRN.
• Material code creation in SAP (consumables/chemicals).
• Arrange shipments with proper storage and packaging from vendors.
• Arrange COA, MSDS and other documents with shipments.
• Coordinate transportation for specific storage conditions.

• Creating PO as per user requirement and specification and getting shipments delivered from authorized vendors.
• Creating advance payments requests in SAP and getting it approved
• Documents filling after all the approval done
• SEZ documentation for capex and raw material procurement.
• Open PO follow up.
• Responsible for invoice clearance for GRN
• Material code creation in SAP (consumable and chemicals)
• Arranging shipments in proper storage condition and proper package from registered Vendors.
• Arranging COA, MSDS and other documents along with the shipments from vendors
• Responsible for arranging proper transportation for particular storage condition.
