Job summary

Rain Carbon Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Maintenance professional to perform servicing, calibration and calibration of field instruments—transmitters, gauges, valves, and converters. You will handle weigh feeders/bridges and must understand P&ID and instrument specifications.

Experience with PLCs is essential. Diplomas in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering are required, with 3–5 years of industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Diploma in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
• Three to five years of industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and calibrations of field instruments including transmitters, gauges, valves and converters.
• Maintenance/calibration of weigh feeders, weigh bridges and related equipment.
• Knowledge of P&ID and instrument specifications.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers.

Purpose of the job

• Responsible for the completion of all Maintenance activities as assigned.
• Planning & Execution of Instruments Preventive maintenance and Calibration activities.
• Trouble shooting, Planning and Implementing activity to avoid unusual repetitive maintenance.
• Knowledge of the operation and uses of testing equipment’s.
• Knowledge in Flue gas & Wet Analyzers.
• Maintaining the Instrumentation work shop.

Duties & Responsibilities (Description of the tasks)

• Servicing, Maintenance & Calibrations of Various field Instruments like Transmitters, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, Control & On/Off Valves I to P Converters, Position transmitters, and Motorized valves.
• Knowledge in Maintenance & Calibrations of weigh feeders, Belt weighers &Weigh bridges.
• Knowledge in P&ID, Instrument specifications.
• Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controllers.
