Job summary

Jobtailor in Visakhapatnam seeks a Maintenance and Calibration Engineer with 3–5 years of industrial experience. You will be responsible for planning and executing preventive maintenance and calibration of field instruments, troubleshooting, and improving equipment reliability.

You will service transmitters, gauges, valves, weigh feeders, PLCs, and calibrate various instruments in the instrumentation workshop.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience maintaining and calibrating field instruments.
Experience with transmitters, gauges, valves and I/P converters is required.
Knowledge of PLCs and instrumentation systems is preferred.
Experience with flue gas and wet analyzers is a plus.
Ability to read P&ID and instrument specifications.
Good troubleshooting and preventive maintenance planning skills.
Strong communication abilities and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Responsible for completion of all Maintenance activities as assigned
Planning & Execution of Instruments Preventive maintenance and Calibration activities
Trouble shooting, Planning and Implementing activity to avoid unusual repetitive maintenance
Knowledge of the operation and uses of testing equipment’s
Knowledge in Flue gas & Wet Analyzers
Maintaining the Instrumentation work shop
Servicing, Maintenance & Calibrations of Various field Instruments like Transmitters, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, Control & On/Off Valves I to P Converters, Position transmitters, and Motorized valves
Knowledge in Maintenance & Calibrations of weigh feeders, Belt weighers & Weigh bridges
Knowledge in P&ID, Instrument specifications
Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controllers
Good communication skills.
