Melhor Group in Goa is seeking a proactive Junior Engineer – Civil to manage day-to-day site execution for a luxury residential project in Anjuna, North Goa. You will stay on the ground, follow up aggressively, and ensure work progresses without delays.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, supervising site activities, and monitoring quality. You will also handle reporting, material coordination, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years civil site execution experience
• Experience on residential/high-rise/villa/commercial/hospitality projects a plus
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate with contractors

Responsibilities

• Site Execution Supervision: oversee day-to-day civil activities on site, ensure work per drawings and timelines, monitor productivity and coordinate with contractors and vendors
• Contractor Labour Coordination: manage manpower, materials, and machinery availability; escalate issues; ensure discipline and continuous execution
• Quality Site Monitoring: monitor workmanship, identify defects, report corrective actions, support snag closure and prevent rework
• Planning, Reporting Documentation: prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records and ERP-based reporting, assist senior engineers
• Material Billing Support: coordinate with stores and procurement, track consumption, assist in quantity checking and billing verification
• Safety Compliance: ensure safety protocols and housekeeping on site

We are looking for a highly proactive Junior Engineer – Civil who can handle day-to-day site execution, contractor coordination, and site monitoring for a luxury residential project in Anjuna, North Goa.
You will be expected to stay on the ground, follow up aggressively, solve execution issues quickly, and ensure work moves without delays.
If you cannot handle pressure, coordinate with contractors, monitor execution continuously, and take ownership of site activities — this role is not for you.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Site Execution Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day civil execution activities on site
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and approved timelines
• Monitor ongoing work and ensure site productivity remains high
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and vendors for smooth execution
• Ensure site activities move without unnecessary delays

Contractor Labour Coordination

• Follow up with contractors and labour teams daily
• Ensure required manpower, materials, and machinery are available on time
• Escalate site issues immediately to senior management
• Maintain discipline and accountability among site teams
• Ensure work fronts are available for continuous execution

Quality Site Monitoring

• Monitor quality of civil works regularly
• Identify execution mistakes and report corrective actions immediately
• Ensure proper workmanship and finishing standards on site
• Support snag identification and closure activities
• Prevent rework through continuous supervision

Planning, Reporting Documentation

• Prepare daily progress reports and execution updates
• Maintain site records, checklists, and activity trackers
• Work on ERP systems for site reporting and updates
• Coordinate through professional email communication and reporting
• Assist senior engineers and project managers in execution tracking

Material Billing Support

• Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for material availability
• Track material consumption and reduce wastage
• Assist in quantity checking and contractor billing verification
• Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and BOQs

Safety Compliance

• Follow site safety protocols and execution standards
• Ensure housekeeping and safe working practices on site
• Support implementation of quality and compliance requirements
