Job summary

IMI Process Automation is seeking a proactive professional to deliver customized flow control solutions. You will review customer inquiries, size and select designs, prepare error-free proposals, and coordinate with manufacturing to ensure timely delivery.

You will handle technical and commercial queries and update Salesforce to reflect project progress. The ideal candidate will have a BE Mechanical, strong English communication, and the ability to present information effectively to management

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical is the minimum qualification.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Windows applications.
• Fluent in English with strong email/phone etiquette.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.
• Accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation.
• Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to meet customer needs and schedule.
• Prepare detailed project costing.
• Handle technical and commercial queries from customer.
• Coordinate with customers, Outside Sales, and Sales Reps to show value of solutions.
• Transfer project details post order to PM and assist in post order issues.
• Update Salesforce on a regular basis.

Role Overview

The position provides customer with flow control solutions to their requirements in the form of customized engineering products, which serves customer needs, meets technical and economic goals and are profitable to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.
• Responsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation.
• Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.
• Confers with manufacturing team to assure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs.
• Preparation of the project costing in detail.
• Handling technical and commercial queries from customer.
• Coordinates with customers, Outside Sales, Sales Representatives to convince customer of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered.
• Upon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues.
• Update Sales tools (Salesforce) on regular basis.

Required Skillsets

• B.E Mechanical (Minimum Requirement)
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications)
• General working knowledge of power stations desirable.
• Fluency in English (both verbal & writing)
• Good email and telephone etiquette
• Ability to effectively present information to management and customers.
• Ability to adopt and leverage AI tools and technologies to improve the quality, speed, and productivity of proposal preparation and related sales processes.
