Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Architect / Junior Architect to join our architectural team in Bengaluru, India. You will assist in designing residential architectural projects from concept through execution, ensuring high-quality design and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture and 1-2 years of experience. Skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit are preferred. This position offers exposure to premium villas and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Architect / Junior Architect to join our growing architectural team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, planning, and executing residential architectural projects, ensuring high-quality design, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on premium villas, farmhouses, and residential developments from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and design presentations.
• Develop GFCs (Good for Construction) drawings, working drawings, and detailed architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare design details, material specifications, and BOQs as required.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
• 1–2 years of experience in an architectural firm (Freshers with relevant internship experience may also apply).
• Strong understanding of architectural planning, detailing, and residential design.
• Experience in preparing GFCs, working drawings, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit (preferred), Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, and AI-based design tools.
• Good knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and design standards.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in designing or executing residential villas and farmhouses will be an added advantage.
