Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and perform reconciliations.

Time Zone Requirement: Must overlap with 9:00am 5pm US Eastern Time (EST)

Indian Time - 6 PM to 3 AM (IST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Accountant based in India to support the accounting and financial operations of our US-based entities. This role requires hands-on experience with US GAAP accounting, strong technical proficiency in accounting systems, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with US-based leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure proper classification and recording of all financial transactions

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist CFO in preparing financial reports
• Prepare variance analyses
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Generate ad hoc reports

Treasury & Cash Management:

• Prepare cash flow forecasts
• Perform reconciliations

Accounts Payable:

• Process invoices and assist with managing payments
• Assist with vendor queries

Compliance & Audit Support:

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Assist with audits and tax filings as needed
• Maintain organized financial records

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with CFO and team members
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Handle confidential data
