Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and General Ledger processes.
• Hands-on experience in US Accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Month-End Closing and Account Reconciliations.
• Experience with Oracle, M3, or Yardi will be an added advantage.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review General Ledger and month-end closing activities for US companies.
• Handle Bank Reconciliation Statements, Payroll Accounting, Income Journals, Sales Tax filings, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and deliverables for the Management team.
• Review the work of assigned team members and monitor daily performance.
• Prepare and present Error Trackers with RCA to Management.
• Identify and resolve unreconciled and aged items promptly with clients.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding items and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate with clients via emails and calls.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly submissions to clients.
• Maintain Work Allocation Matrix and support monthly KPI reporting.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – General Ledger with strong expertise in US Accounting, General Ledger, Month-End Closing, Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review General Ledger and month-end closing activities for US companies.
• Handle Bank Reconciliation Statements, Payroll Accounting, Income Journals, Sales Tax working/filing, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and deliverables for the Management team.
• Review the work performed by assigned team members and monitor their daily performance.
• Prepare and present Error Trackers along with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to Management.
• Identify and resolve unreconciled and aged items promptly, both internally and in coordination with clients.
• Follow up with clients on outstanding/reconciling items and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate regulary with clients through emails and calls.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial submissions to clients.
• Complete assigned jobs within committed timelines while maintaining accuracy and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain and update the Work Allocation Matrix and support monthly KPI reporting.
• Escalate pending or critical issues to the appropriate level of Management.
• Strictly adhere to information security, internal controls, and process guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and General Ledger processes.
• Hands‑on experience in US Accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Month-End Closing and Account Reconciliations.
• Experience with accounting software such as Oracle, M3, or Yardi will be an added advantage.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
