Job summary

Alghanim Industries is seeking a Quality Control professional with 3-5 years of experience in fabrication-focused shop-floor QC. You will uphold QA systems and procedures, inspect fabrications, and drive continuous quality improvements on the shop floor.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, possess NDT certifications (PT, UT, MPI, RT), be familiar with ASTM/AWS/ASME/API standards, and lead QA training while coordinating with internal customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control in fabrication industries, shop-floor QC.
• Experience with ASTM, AWS, ASME, API standards.
• NDT Certification on PT, UT, MPI, RT.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience handling a Mechanical Laboratory.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Proven ability to train QA staff and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to QA systems and procedures across production.
• Check and inspect fabrications to verify conformity with parameters.
• Carry out quality audits.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Troubleshoot shop-floor quality issues promptly.
• Train QA staff and engineers in the team.
• Address QA concerns of internal customers.
• Work in shifts as required.

Incumbent should be having minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control Department with prior experience in fabrication industries only in shop-floor Quality Control.

Job Responsibilities

• Candidate should be well versed with QA systems & procedures.
• Check & Inspect the product quality is within the parameters or not of Fabricated items produced
• Responsible for Quality Audit
• Corrective & Preventive action
• Effectively troubleshoot quality issues at the shop floor level
• Able to give training to the QA staff & engineers in his team.
• Should be able to troubleshoot concerns of internal customers with respect to QA issues.
• Should be willing to work in shifts.

Candidate Requirements

• Age Range: below 25 years
• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control Department with prior experience in fabrication industries only in shop-floor Quality Control
• Working knowledge of ASTM,AWS,ASME, API Standards
• NDT Certification on PT, UT, MPI, RT
• Know how of ISO: 9000 Quality Management Systems
• Experienced in Handling Mechanical Laboratory
• Well versed with MS Office
