Job summary

Integra Engineering is seeking a Quality Controller for fabrication processes in Halol. The role requires hands-on QC of sheet metal products, knowledge of welding (MIG/TIG), reading drawings, and implementing KAIZEN and POKA YOKE to reduce inspection time.

Candidate should be familiar with ISO standards, GD&T, 8D, and CAPA methods, and be able to liaise with customers during inspections. Documentation of inspection activities and corrective actions will be routine.

Qualifications

• Diploma Mechanical with 3–5 years experience; B.E. Mechanical with 2–3 years experience.
• Knowledge of QC processes and documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out product inspection and document reports.
• Monitor quality issues and record in the system.
• Prepare inspection documentation including reports and performance records.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of sheet metal/Heavy fabrication
• Knowledge of Welding Processes (i.e. MIG, TIG).
• Knowledge of Drawing reading
• Ability to take proficient decision.
• Knowledge of KAIZEN, POKA YOKE by implementing such jigs, tools for reduction of Inspection time.
• Knowledge of ISO standard (i.e. ISO13920, ISO2768).
• Ability to handle Customers for Inspection activities and when require visit customer to understand quality issues.
• Knowledge of various measuring instruments and their usage.
• Basic Awareness of QMS
• Knowledge about the GD&T dimensions
• Knowledge of 8D and CAPA.
• Carryout product inspection of offered products.
• Monitoring Quality related issues and its system entry.
• Prepare documentation of inspection processes, which included detailed reports and performance record.
• Recommend improvement measures to the production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Guide production team about the QC issues to enhance the quality of the product.
• Ensure Implementation of Corrective action and monitoring of effectiveness.
• Analyzing root cause of defects if and giving the solution for zero defect.
• System clearance of product in ERP, if any.
• Follow the daily Inspection activity plan.
• Record Internal NCR and share it with Production team for root cause analysis.
• Suggestion for the improvement of the Products and Process.
• Responsible for the QC activities such as Jigs, Fixture, Template validation plan.
• Participation in New Product Development and prepare necessary documents in terms of quality.
