Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Histopathology Laboratory Assistant to support routine laboratory operations, handle specimens, and assist with approved procedures in a clinical setting.

You will work with the Laboratory Supervisor and Pathologist to maintain sample integrity, prepare reagents, operate instruments, and ensure preventive maintenance, calibration, and compliance with safety and quality practices.

• Ensure compliance with standard sample processing and testing procedures.
• Coordinate and ensure regular maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare reagents and stains as per requirement.
• Specimen labeling, handling, preservation, processing and storage where applicable.
• Implement all laboratory procedures.
• Perform tests with proper instrument use.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration procedures for each test performed.

Job description

This role Will support routine histopathology laboratory operations by assisting in specimen handling andprocessing, performing approved laboratory procedures, and ensuring proper use and basic maintenance oflaboratory instruments. The role maintains reagent integrity, follows established SOPS, and adheres tolaboratory safety and quality practices to support accurate and efficient diagnostic testing.
