• Operate JCB machines for tasks such as digging, trenching, loading, grading, and material handling.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and engineers to complete work according to project specifications.
• Operate JCB safely and efficiently, avoiding damage to equipment, property, and personnel.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the JCB.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of the machine; report any safety hazards, mechanical issues, or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, and cleaning the machine; keep records of maintenance and report any major repairs needed to the maintenance team.
• Assist in preparing the worksite, including setting up barriers and signs, clearing debris and obstacles from the work area, and assisting with other tasks on the site as directed such as loading/unloading materials or setting up equipment.
