IIHT in Chennai is seeking an experienced Java DSA Trainer to conduct intensive, classroom-based training for a student batch. The trainer should have strong expertise in Java, Data Structures & Algorithms, and practical experience preparing students for coding assessments and technical interviews.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with LeetCode and HackerRank and guide students through problem-solving, coding practice, and assessments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java programming.
• Excellent knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Prior experience as a Java/DSA trainer or coding instructor is preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct offline classroom training on Java and Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Teach core DSA concepts with emphasis on practical coding and problem solving.
• Cover key topics: Arrays, Strings, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Hashing, Recursion, Trees, Graphs, DP, and complexity analysis.
• Provide hands-on coding exercises and real-world problem solving.
• Prepare students for coding assessments and technical interviews.
• Use LeetCode and HackerRank for practice.
• Conduct regular coding assessments and provide feedback.

Training Mode: 100% Offline / Classroom Training

Training Duration: 30 Days, extendable up to 45 days based on batch requirements.

Expected Start Date: 1st Week of September 2026

Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance Trainer

Commercials: 3,0004,000 per training day, based on assessment and experience

Accommodation: Provided by the company during the training period

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with coding platforms such as LeetCode and HackerRank and should be able to guide students through problem-solving, coding practice, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct offline classroom training on Java and Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Teach core DSA concepts with a strong focus on practical coding and problem-solving.
• Cover Arrays, Strings, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Hashing, Recursion, Trees, Graphs, Sorting, Searching, Dynamic Programming, and Complexity Analysis.
• Provide hands‑on coding exercises and real‑world problem‑solving scenarios.
• Prepare students for coding assessments and technical interviews.
• Use LeetCode, HackerRank, and similar coding platforms for coding practice.
• Conduct regular coding assessments and provide feedback.
• Identify student learning gaps and provide additional guidance.
• Track batch progress and share feedback with relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience in Java programming.
• Excellent knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Prior experience as a Java/DSA Trainer, Coding Instructor, Technical Trainer, Mentor, or similar role.
• Strong familiarity with LeetCode and HackerRank.
• Experience preparing students for coding tests/interviews is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom delivery skills.
• Ability to explain complex programming concepts in a simple and structured manner.

1. Java technical expertise

4. Training and classroom delivery experience
5. Technical/DSA assessment or demo session
