Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching, lecturing, or corporate training experience in CS/programming.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals: programming logic, data structures, algorithms, and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, trainings, and hands-on labs on CS fundamentals and programming.
• Teach core Java programming and scripting concepts, including OOP, data structures, and problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and maintain course material, lesson plans, assignments, coding exercises, and assessments.
• Conduct practical coding sessions, review learner code, and provide constructive feedback.
• Design and evaluate tests, projects, and assessments to measure learner progress.
• Mentor and support learners, addressing doubts and adapting delivery to different levels.
• Keep course content current with evolving industry practices and technologies.
• Track and report learner performance, attendance, and progress to the L&D/Training lead.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals – programming logic, data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on proficiency in Java programming and scripting, with the ability to write, explain, and debug code live.
• Ability to break down complex technical topics into clear, structured, and engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills to manage curriculum, schedules, and assessments.
• Exposure to web technologies, databases, or software development lifecycle (SDLC).
