Job summary

Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking an experienced Java Solution Architect for Vadodara client office. The role focuses on Java backend engineering, microservices, and payments domain, with 12+ years of experience.

You will design scalable, secure architectures, lead technical directions, and collaborate with Product, Eng, Mobile, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver end-to-end payment solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Java/J2EE backend dev and solution architecture.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs & API integrations.
• Extensive Payments domain experience and end-to-end payment journeys.
• Designs scalable, resilient, secure, high-performance distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, integration patterns.
• Defines solution architecture, technical designs, and engineering standards.
• Collaborates with Product, Engineering, Mobile, DevOps, Security teams.
• Provides technical leadership, reviews designs/code, guides teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior client/tech stakeholders.

• Bridge architecture and engineering teams to align on design.
• Provide technical direction and drive end-to-end solution design for complex payment products.

Solution Architect - Java / Microservices / Payments

Location: Vadodara - Client Office Experience: 12+ Years Work Model: Work from Office

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Java backend engineering and architecture background, along with hands-on experience designing and building solutions for the Payments domain.

What we're looking for:

• 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE backend development and solution architecture
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and API integrations
• Strong Payments domain experience and understanding of end-to-end payment journeys
• Proven experience designing scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance distributed systems
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native solutions
• Experience defining solution architecture, technical designs, integration patterns, and engineering standards
• Ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, Mobile (Android/iOS), DevOps, Security, and business teams
• Ability to provide technical leadership, guide engineering teams, review designs/code, and drive key architecture decisions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with senior client and technology stakeholders

Good to have

• Experience architecting solutions supporting Android/iOS mobile applications, including backend services, APIs, authentication, payment integrations, and mobile-to-backend integration patterns.
