Job summary

Capco India in Vadodara is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our hybrid team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, owning features end-to-end from design to release.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA and backend teams to deliver user‑centric solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in iOS development, strong MVVM/Clean Architecture knowledge, and experience with testing, security, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS development experience.
• Strong Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit knowledge.
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with security, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying apps to the App Store.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift.
• Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle from design to production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while actively participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering, to deliver intuitive and user-centric solutions.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, SDKs, and backend services.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, crashes, and application stability issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance iOS applications using Swift.
• Take ownership of features throughout the development of lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while actively participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering, to deliver intuitive and user-centric solutions.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, SDKs, and backend services.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, crashes, and application stability issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in iOS application development using Swift.
• Deep understanding of the iOS SDK, Xcode, and modern iOS development frameworks.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Good understanding of Concurrency / async-await, networking, data persistence, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application security, secure coding practices, Keychain, authentication, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with unit testing, code quality tools, Git, and CI/CD practices is preferred.
• Experience with App Store deployment, provisioning profiles, certificates, and release management.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise-grade or large-scale mobile applications.
• Experience working on Payments / FinTech applications or payment integrations would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative engineering environments
