Persistent Systems is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join our technology team in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React JS, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure software solutions.

You will contribute to end-to-end development, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices while working with modern technologies and a culture

Competenze

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with React JS and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and React JS.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications using modern front-end development practices.
• Develop reusable UI components using React Hooks, Context API, Redux, and state management techniques.
• Design and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Spring Boot.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, databases, and external systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards and application quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and optimize database queries to ensure efficient data processing and management.
• Utilize Git and version control best practices to support collaborative development.
• Support application deployment, release management, and production support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes, tools, and best practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Application Development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, preferably Java 17/21 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and backend service development.
• Strong expertise in React JS and modern front-end development frameworks.
• Experience with React Hooks, Context API, Redux, Component Lifecycle, and state management concepts.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Good understanding of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Hands-on experience with Git and distributed version control systems.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative and cross-functional teams.
