Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a seasoned Java Developer with AWS and Kubernetes expertise to join our Hyderabad team. The role focuses on designing and delivering medium to large Java SOA applications, leveraging Spring Boot, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of experience, strong knowledge of AWS services, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor juniors, and ensure production-grade solutions in an Agile Scrum

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development and SOA architectures.
• Hands-on experience building microservices with Spring Boot and event-driven design.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Kafka, NoSQL/SQL databases and data modeling.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, deploy, and support medium to large Java SOA applications.
• Collaborate with clients to validate requirements and architect solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.

Experience:6 + Yrs

Location: Hyderabad

Technical Skills

• Java Spring boot, Microservices, AWS ECS, API Gateway, Kubernetes, Deployment experience and, Java 17 and above (nice to have)
• Experience building microservices with Spring Boot and event-driven architecture and Core Java mandatory
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra), including data modeling
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, ELB, EKS, ECS

• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with Java performance tuning, debugging, and profiling tools
• Demonstrated skill in building scalable services using Java, Spring, Kafka, and Cassandra
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit5 and Cucumber
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles
• Experience with Docker or other containerization/orchestration tools

• Experience in Agile Scrum.
