Job summary

Worldpay India Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to join the TITANS team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own the development of high quality features, ensure test coverage, and work with Java 8+ technologies including Spring Boot, REST APIs, JUnit, and cloud tooling.

An ideal candidate will have hands-on Java experience with Java 8+, and be capable of delivering end-to-end features while embracing evolving principles and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with Java 8+
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Strong unit testing with JUnit
• Knowledge of SAFe and cloud technologies is a plus
• Familiar with Terraform and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins)
• Frontend knowledge (AngularJS/ReactJS) or Kotlin is a plus
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to learn and adapt to evolving practices

• high quality code development for new features
• ensure proper test coverage
• A ideal candidate will have responsibility of developing of independent capability within software in a specified time frame following industry wide best practices with an objective to learn on the job and adhere to new principles and practices as it evolves.
• This is a 100% developer position where the candidate is expected to be proficient and has a good hands-on on JAVA, with good working / hands-on with JAVA8+
• There will be normal business hours allowing some overlap with UK business hours.

An ideal candidate shall possess below capabilities:
