Job summary

Worldpay India Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive high quality Java features, ensure test coverage, and grow independent capabilities within a fast-evolving tech team. The role expects hands-on Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern cloud tooling, with some overlap to UK hours.

The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision, upskill on new technologies, and interpret technical specifications to deliver robust software in a global payments environment.

Qualifications

What you’ll own

• high quality code development for new features
• ensure proper test coverage
• A ideal candidate will have responsibility of developing independent capability within software in a specified time frame following industry wide best practices with an objective to learn on the job and adhere to new principles and practices as it evolves.
• This is a 100% developer position where the candidate is expected to be proficient and has a good hands-on on JAVA, with good working / hands-on with JAVA8+
• There will be normal business hours allowing some overlap with UK business hours.

What you’ll bring

An ideal candidate shall possess below capabilities:
