Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Software Engineer to join the WPT Client team and help shape the future of global commerce with high-quality code development for new features. The role emphasizes strong Java hands-on work, API skills, and a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Expect Java 8+ and modern Java ecosystems with Spring Boot, JUnit, Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD; angular/react/kotlin exposure is a plus. UK business-hour overlap applies, and the position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with hands-on experience in core features.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, REST APIs and testing frameworks.
• Ability to write clean, testable code with good documentation.

What you’ll own

The hired candidate will ensure following- high qualitycode development for new features

• ensure proper test coverage
• A ideal candidate will have responsibility of developing of independent capability within software in a specified time frame following industry wide best practices with an objective to learn on the job and adhere to new principles and practices as it evolves.
• This is a 100% developer position where the candidate is expected to be proficient and has a good hands-on on JAVA, with good working / hands-on with JAVA8+
• There will be normal business hours allowing some overlap with UK business hours.

What you’ll bring

An ideal candidate shall possess below capabilities: Tools and technology:
