Job summary

Capgemini in Pune, Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build and maintain large-scale applications on AWS using Spring Boot microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure and resilient solutions, implementing best practices, and participating in code reviews.

7–12 years of hands-on experience with Java and AWS will be essential. The role requires deep knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless Lambda

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale Java applications on AWS cloud platform using Spring Boot microservices architecture.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  


• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of the application by implementing best practices in coding standards.
  


• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding guidelines and quality standards.
  


• Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment on AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in developing Java applications with expertise in Spring Boot framework.
  


• Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem including EC2 instances management.
  


• Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes orchestration tools like ECS/EKS.
  


• Proficiency in working with Lambda functions as serverless computing solution.
