Job summary

Bounteous in Bangalore is seeking a Java AWS Developer with 6-9 years of experience to design and build scalable, high‑throughput applications.

The role requires strong hands‑on Java, Spring and Spring Boot, AWS Cloud expertise including Lambda, API Gateway, and EKS, plus RESTful APIs, DevOps practices, and the ability to modernize legacy systems while delivering reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot application development.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud, including serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway) and container-based deployments using EKS.
• Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience building highly transactional, scalable, fault-tolerant, and data-driven applications
• Good knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development and customization.
• Experience working with infrastructure automation tools such as Terracore/Terraform.
• Ability to analyze and modernize legacy mainframe applications through reverse engineering and solution design.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management skills with the ability to proactively mitigate issues.
• Experience in project planning, stakeholder management, and delivering within deadlines.
