Job summary

Kyndryl in India is hiring a seasoned Japanese-language professional to liaise with Japanese clients, stakeholders, and global teams. You will translate and interpret business communications, prepare Japanese reports and presentations, and support project coordination across Japan-based units, ensuring accurate, culturally appropriate interactions.

Requirements: JLPT N1 or N2, 7+ years of experience, strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Japanese, plus solid English communication.

Qualifications

• JLPT N1 or N2 certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Japanese language roles.
• Strong reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Japanese.

• Relevant experience working with Japanese clients or teams is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Certifications in Japanese language proficiency JLPT N2 or above
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals
• Experience in working with Japanese clients or in a multicultural team is preferred.
• Knowledge of Mainframe domain.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
