Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in India to design and develop automotive safety and user-experience products. The role involves system-level verification and validation, test design, and execution on hardware-in-loop benches for BCM and gateway features.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN/CAN-FD/J1939/GMLAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostic protocols, plus exposure to automated/manual test environments and DOORS/POLARION for

Qualifications

• Hands on experience analysing electrical circuits and system knowledge of electronic controllers.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols CAN/CAN-FD/J1939/GMLAN/LIN/Ethernet.
• Experience with diagnostic protocols KWP, ISO 14229, DoIP, ISO 15765.
• Knowledge of test bench environments and both automated/manual testing for BCM features.

Responsibilities

• Verify & Validate system level testing of automotive products (BCM, Gateway, Key Fob).
• Design tests, create test cases and execute on hardware-in-loop benches.
• Report tests, track defects and analyze issues with standard problem solving methods.

Role Description:

• Verification & Validation of System level Testing in Automotive Products of BCM, Gateway, Key fob,

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Tasks corresponds to Core IO software Testing and validation
• The tasks correspond to Automotive Electronics Product Testing, especially with respect to BCM features/Body domain.
• Understanding of test bench environment
• Setting up/ Modification in the Automated and manual test environment
• Understanding of Product Specifications and perform requirement Analysis
• Test design, test case generation and test execution on the hardware in loop bench setup
• Test reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions.
• Issue analysis using standard problem solving methods and tools

Skill Sets Your Background:

• Hands on experience in analysing electrical circuits, and having system level knowledge in understyanding different blocks of any electronic controllers
• Hands on experience in Communication protocol(s) : CAN/ CAN-FD/ J1939/ GMLAN/ LIN/ Flexray/ Ethernet
• Hands on experience in diagnostic protocol(s) : KWP, ISO 14229 (UDSOnCAN, UDSOnFR), DoIP, ISO 15765, ISO 10681
• Hands on experience in Serial communication Physical layer testing/Network compliance testing - (PC5/CAN/ CAN-FD-[ ISO11898-2 (ed. 2016), ISO 16845, parts 1 and 2] / LIN [SAEJ2602]/ FlexRay/Ethernet)
• Experience in using any requirements management tools (DOORS/POLARION)
• Working experience with Automated Test environment /Manual Test benches for BCM features and Functions
• Experience in setting up Test bench for BCM.
