Snow Planet in Ahmedabad, India, seeks an IT Asset Management (ITAM) content validator to own validation across software, hardware, licensing, and catalogs. You will analyze entitlements and contracts to maintain a high-quality content library and develop ITAM expertise, particularly with ServiceNow and related tools.

You will manage part numbers and content repositories, create validation guidelines, and transform asset data into actionable ITAM insights while collaborating in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and automate workflows.
• 2–6 years in ITAM, SAM, or HAM.
• Hands-on ITAM implementation, content validation, QA, or audits.
• Experience validating HAM/SAM data, licensing data, entitlements, or contracts.
• Ability to handle large data volumes independently while meeting targets.
• Strong analytical skills to identify data issues and propose improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken form.
• Strong research skills for data-quality challenges.
• Problem-solving with a customer-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of SAM and HAM tools (ServiceNow, FlexNet, Snow Software, SCCM, ILMT, MAP Toolkit).
• Understanding of software licensing models and vendor engagement.
• Familiarity with software contracts, maintenance, subscriptions, and cloud licensing.
• Scripting, automation, SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel is desirable.
• Experience in governance, data stewardship, or content-data projects is a plus.
• Ability to support content validation and curation based on business needs.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent with strong academics.

Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

• Perform and own content validation activities across software, hardware, licensing, and catalog content with varying levels of complexity to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
• Analyze, interpret, and validate licensing agreements, contracts, and entitlement information to maintain a world-class quality content library.
• Develop expertise in the ServiceNow ITAM product suite, including features, workflows, and data models, and leverage this knowledge to drive content quality improvements.
• Manage IT product part numbers, software and hardware catalogs, and related content repositories.
• Create, maintain, and improve ITAM content-related process documentation, validation guidelines, and knowledge articles.
• Validate high volumes of ITAM content and metadata to ensure compliance with quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness standards.
• Identify quality trends, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve content quality.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall efficiency, consistency, and content quality.
• Analyze and transform discovery, inventory, and asset data into actionable ITAM insights that support software licensing and hardware asset management.
• Create and maintain ITAM content entities across software and hardware catalogs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies to enhance productivity, research, content validation, and decision‑making processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality software and hardware content.

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to improve productivity, automate workflows, analyze data, enhance content quality, and support decision-making.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Hands-on experience in ITAM implementation, content validation, quality assurance, ITAM content quality, or internal/external audit functions.
• Experience validating HAM/SAM implementations, software licensing data, entitlement records, contract information, or content assets is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently on large volumes of data while consistently meeting quality, productivity, and turnaround-time targets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research skills with a passion for solving complex business and data-quality challenges.
• Proven problem-solving abilities with an innovative and customer-focused mindset.
• Working knowledge of SAM and HAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera FlexNet Manager, Snow Software, SCCM, ILMT, MAP Toolkit, or equivalent platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and metrics from publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle, VMware, and SAP is preferred.
• Understanding of software contracts, maintenance agreements, subscriptions, cloud licensing, and vendor engagement models is a plus.
• Experience with scripting, automation, SQL, Power BI, Excel advanced functions, or data analysis tools is desirable.
• Experience in content governance, content management, data stewardship, or content-data projects is a strong advantage.
• Ability to support content validation and content curation activities based on business needs and priorities.
• Bachelors, Masters, or Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a strong academic record.
