Job summary

Growth For Impact in Pune, Maharashtra seeks an IT Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO, and monitor uptime for plant operations.

The role includes patching, backups, DR planning, network optimization, security best practices, and L2/L3 support for plant users and business apps. Independent work at site is required with strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience configuring and managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Familiarity with virtualization, backups, security tools, and DR planning.
• Experience in manufacturing/plant environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Perform server patching, updates, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Monitor system health, logs, backups, and uptime.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset records.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN.
• Configure routers, switches, and firewalls; monitor network performance.
• Implement network and endpoint security best practices.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support for plant users and business applications.
• Ensure IT compliance, security policies, and audit readiness.
• Support onboarding/offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Ensure minimal downtime for plant operations.

ROLE
