EXO Edge Advantage India Private Limited in Mohali is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, manage end-user computing environments, and support enterprise IT infrastructure.

The role involves hardware setup, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, Azure, and collaboration with vendors to keep IT operations running smoothly.

Job Description

At EXO Edge, we are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, manage end-user computing environments, provide in-house IT and hardware support, maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, and contribute to the implementation of new technologies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless IT operations across the organization.

What to expect in your journey

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support through email, phone, and ITSM ticketing systems.
• Provide in-house IT support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, system, and connectivity issues.
• Handle the initial setup and deployment of laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other IT peripherals for new and existing employees.
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements, including RAM and storage upgrades, and support device imaging, OS installation, and system configuration.
• Troubleshoot and support Windows, Microsoft 365, and end-user computing environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, SCCM, Azure, and other SaaS platforms.
• Support IT asset management, software licensing, inventory tracking, and device lifecycle management.
• Assist with basic network administration, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and support IT projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

What you bring to the table

• 2+ years of experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support environment, preferably with hands‑on in‑house IT support experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with laptop and desktop hardware, RAM/storage upgrades, workstation setup, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint, SCCM, and Azure.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, IT Service Management (ITSM), endpoint security, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work directly with employees and resolve issues effectively.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with endpoint security, backup, encryption, or antivirus solutions.
• Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/AZ), AWS, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments is an added advantage.
• Experience with IT asset management tools, inventory systems, and ITSM platforms.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, and technical support.
