IT Remote Support Engineer L1

Job description

• Provide remote support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  
• Handle employee IT onboarding and exit support, including laptop allocation, retrieval coordination, and access validation.
  
• Perform Outlook mailbox support including configuration, archive setup, and basic data handling.
  
• Support data backup requirements as per defined process and guidelines.
  
• Perform basic troubleshooting for video conferencing devices (Cisco, Poly).
  
• Provide basic application support for Outlook, Excel, Adobe Designer, and approved business applications.
  
• Identify and troubleshoot printer-related issues; coordinate with OEM/vendor teams when required.
  
• Log, update, and close incidents in the ticketing tool with clear documentation.
  
• Perform first-level diagnosis before escalation and ensure complete handover details.
  
• Coordinate with users, HR, and internal teams and provide timely status updates.
  
• Follow IT security awareness guidelines and compliance processes.
