Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks an IT Program Analyst to support planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of IT programs in a dynamic, globally connected environment. You will monitor schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities, with experience delivering technology programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT project coordination, program analysis, project management, business analysis, or related role.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Exposure to software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, or digital-transformation programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of IT programs and projects.
• Maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare dashboards, status reports, presentations, and performance metrics for management and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, document minutes, and monitor the completion of agreed action items.
• Partner with business teams, technical teams, vendors, and global stakeholders to support effective program delivery.
• Monitor program budgets, expenses, purchase orders, forecasts, and resource utilisation.
• Support program governance activities and ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and documentation standards
• Analyse program data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support change-management, communication, training, and implementation activities.
• Maintain accurate and current program documentation in designated project-management systems.
• Support vendor coordination, contract tracking, and service-performance reviews, where applicable.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed scope, quality standards, timelines, and business requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across IT program-management practices.
