Job summary

Role & responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

• Manage servers, storage, desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and wireless systems.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades, installations, maintenance, and capacity; maintain documentation, asset inventories, and configuration records.

2. Server and Data Center Operations

• Manage physical/virtual servers, Windows and Linux environments, and virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Monitor server performance, storage, hardware health, operating systems, and critical services; maintain UPS, power backup, cooling, physical access, and equipment safety.
• Plan server upgrades, migrations, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.

3. Network and IT Security

• Manage LAN/WAN, internet leased lines, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and inter‑site connectivity.
• Configure firewall policies, network access controls, secure remote access, and segmentation; manage endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patching, access permissions, and system logs.
• Resolve network/security issues and implement appropriate security controls.
