Job summary

Jayam Solutions is seeking an IT Manager with 4-5 years of experience to lead infrastructure, cloud deployments (AWS/Azure), and IT security initiatives in Hyderabad. The role covers budgeting, vendor management, and team leadership to ensure reliable operations and policy compliance.

The ideal candidate will oversee patch management, Linux server administration, and Open-source deployments while driving strategic IT planning and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• Experience: Proven experience as an IT manager or senior technical role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, SOC, and information security.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certifications: CISO, PMP, ITIL, CISSP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee, maintain, and upgrade servers, networks, firewalls, and hardware/software systems.
• Review of Internal servers, external client systems, and periodic review.
• Cloud Infra: Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud deployment, support, and managing EC2 instances.
• Team Leadership: Manage the IT team, assign daily tasks, conduct performance reviews.
• Strategic Planning: Implement IT policies, best practices, and BCP/ Disaster recovery plans.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure data security through audits, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Patch Management: Patch management of Windows systems, firewalls, and other hardware devices from time to time and ensure compliance.
• Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu: Hands on experience and managing Ubuntu/Linux servers.
• Open-source software deployment: Knowledge on installing open-source software in ubuntu/Linux environment using Docker/windows environment.
• Budgeting: Manage the IT department budget and optimize costs for software and hardware.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors and manage SLAs.
• Technical Support: Direct troubleshooting and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
