Job summary

Pelatro in Bengaluru is seeking an IT Lead/Manager to guide a team of IT professionals in designing, deploying, and maintaining our computing network, with emphasis on security, reliability and scalable architecture. You will oversee hardware, software, and system configuration, verify BOMs, and coordinate vendor quotes to match reference specifications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of practical IT Service Management experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Experience with global transformation programs in a complex organization.
• Experience in setting up virtualization environments (mandatory).
• Experience of working with vendors to deliver IT service.
• Experience in networking, storage and Data Centre management.
• Bachelors/Diploma in IT with solid track record.

About The Job

The IT Lead’s responsibilities include working with a team of IT specialists to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture. You will be in charge of overseeing digital security and performing maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at full capacity. You will also be tasked with installing hardware and software when necessary. You will be in charge of verifying correctness of hardware against the reference BOM and also liaising with different vendors for obtaining the best quote for a reference hardware specification.

Minimum Qualification

• 12+ years of practical IT Service Management experience of which at least 3 years is in a Lead Role.


• Experience of global and strategic transformation/programs and driving change in a complex global organization.


• Experience in setting up virtualization environment (mandatory).


• Experience of working with vendors in delivering IT service.


• Experience in networking, storage and Data Centre management.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent) / Diploma in IT with solid track record.
