Job summary

Peepul is seeking a motivated IT intern to support day-to-day operations in Delhi. The role focuses on software, email systems, user support, IT security, and basic troubleshooting.

You will learn across OS, networking, and office applications while handling routine IT tasks. The internship lasts 3 months with performance-based consideration for a possible continuation as an IT Associate, subject to appraisal and vacancies.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing MCA/BCA/B.Tech in IT/CS or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems and networking.
  • Familiar with MS Office and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn and assist across IT tasks.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for software, email, internet, and user access.
  • Support installation, configuration, and updating of software and applications.
  • Assist in managing official email accounts, user access, and basic IT systems.
  • Maintain records of IT assets, software licences, users, and IT-related issues.
  • Identify phishing, suspicious emails, cyber-security threats, and other ITfrauds.
  • Support data backup, access control, and basic IT security practices.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors/service providers when required.
  • Prepare basic IT reports and documentation.
  • Assist the IT Officer in other technology-related activities and projects.

About the Role

To provide support in day-to-day IToperations, with a focus on software, email systems, user support, IT security,and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities would include (but notlimited to):

Qualification & Skills
  • EducationalBackground: Pursuing MCA / BCA / B.Tech (IT/ComputerScience) or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, MS Office/GoogleWorkspace, email systems, and software applications.
  • Other Skills: Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, basicunderstanding of cybersecurity and data protection, good communication anddocumentation skills, and willingness to learn and work across different ITrequirements.
  • PreferredExperience: Prior exposure to IT helpdesk or usersupport, familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices, or hands‑on experiencewith office IT systems will be an added advantage.
Potential for Continuation

The internship will initially be for 3months. Based on performance, learning ability, and organisationalrequirements, the intern may be considered for continuation as an IT Associate subject to appraisal and vacancies arising at Peepul.
