Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a Wintel System Engineer to manage Windows Server administration, VM creation, OS installation, patching, and data centre operations from Noida, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will collaborate with network, storage, backup, and application teams to ensure high availability, perform log analysis, and support Commvault-based backup/recovery strategies in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/IT.
• 6+ years of Windows (Wintel) administration experience.
• Strong Windows deployment and data centre operations knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and system understanding.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Manage data centre operations including VM creation and OS installation.
• Handle virtualization with VMware and Nutanix AHV.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; ensure patch management and hardening.
• Coordinate with networks, storage, backup, and apps teams during incidents.
• Support Commvault backup and recovery strategies; analyze logs and performance.
• Document SOPs, build docs and operating procedures.

Reporting Relationship : Reporting to Project Manager.

Role Summary : Wintel System Engineer responsible for Windows Server Administration and Data Centre Operations including VM creation, OS installation, VM configuration, patch management, troubleshooting, and log analysis. A Data Centre Support Engineer with strong expertise in managing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure across Windows Server platforms, virtualization environments, and enterprise backup solutions. Experienced in ensuring high availability, performance optimization, system security, and operational stability within mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments:
  1. Microsoft Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
  2. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS
  3. System hardening, patch management, performance tuning, log analysis
• Data Centre operational activities such as VM creation, OS installation, and server configuration.
• Hands‑on experience in managing virtualized environments using:
  1. VMware vSphere / ESXi
  2. Nutanix AHV
• User and group administration, file system management, permissions, and IP configuration.
• Monitoring server health, handling incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
• Implementation and support of enterprise backup and recovery strategies using Commvault.
• Troubleshooting Windows services, event logs, performance bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
• Coordination with network, storage, backup, and application teams during incidents and deployments.
• Documentation of SOPs, build documents, and operational procedures.
