Job summary

Crimson Interactive in Mumbai is seeking an IT Infra Manager to lead our Technology operations, ensuring reliable cloud, network, security, and server infrastructure to support global research and localization platforms.

You will drive IT strategy, oversee risk management, vendor relationships, and the deployment of scalable solutions. The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in IT infrastructure, and hands-on expertise in networks, servers, AD, and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong networking and security knowledge required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term direction for IT with strategic plans to support the vision.
• Ensure availability of necessary infrastructure/resources/risk mitigation/quality control.
• Take control of and manage the company critical infrastructure including Cloud Setup (AWS), web servers, databases, Linux servers, network, and security configurations.
• Responsible for 360-degree security cover for all software and hardware assets.
• Manage complete backup (onsite and offsite) for all servers and ensure licensing SLAs are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing long term direction to the organization regarding IT and give guidance for creation of strategic plans to support the vision
• Ensuring availability of necessary infrastructure/ resources/ risk mitigation/ quality/ control mechanisms
• Take control of and manage the company critical infrastructure including the Cloud Setup(AWS), web servers, database servers(SQL Server), Linux Servers, Internet Lines, Telephone lines(VOIP and analog), CCTV, network, desktops, mobile devices, Active Directory, Email Servers etc.
• Responsible for 360degrees security cover for all software and hardware assets of the organization.
• Manage complete backup(onsite and offsite) for all internal and external servers
• Take control of and maintain licensing SLAs for all software.
• Procure and make available suitable hardware and systems for new joinees.
• Evaluate IT products/solutions and institutionalize them within the organization.
• Work closely with the external vendor to manage all internal day to day tasks and achieve complete customer satisfaction.
• Continuous improvement of existing processes and introduction of new ones.
• Maintain records and policies for ISMS and QMS.
• Talent and capability management, training and enablement.
• Identify, record, evangelize and organize training for your team mates.
• Reviewing and ensuring Best Solution Approach / Best Practices are followed while implementation of any new Application or during change in the Applications.
• Work with other Leaders to strategically plan the departments roadmap to align with the growth roadmap of the company.

Pre-requisites/key characteristics and skills required:

• Planning and overseeing execution of the overall IT strategy
• Excellent knowledge and experience of networking and Infrastructure.
• Ability to plan and act with a fair bit of autonomy and confidence.
• Expected to handle multiple departments such as Network, Servers, Information Security, Operations and Infrastructure
• Ability to work with company leaders to manage expectations and handle ad-hoc requirements.
• Minimum 8 year experience
