You will work directly with the CEO and cross-functional leaders to be the technical backbone of Enago and Crimson's product ecosystem, ensuring world-class quality, scalability, and innovation.

This senior role combines deep technical credibility with people leadership and a product-centric mindset, driving a high-impact engineering charter in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of current software tech trends.
• Experience in AI-driven transformation and automation.
• Hands-on with Microsoft and Open-source tech, AWS.
• Deep SQL design knowledge, esp. MS SQL.
• Experience building mission-critical web products.

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Head of Engineering to lead and scale our technology organization at Crimson. You will own the full engineering charter from architecture and delivery to team building and cultural excellence. Working directly with the CEO and cross-functional leadership, you will be the technical backbone of Enago and Crimson's product ecosystem, ensuring that our platform remains world-class in quality, scalability, and innovation.

This is a highly impactful senior leadership role for someone who combines deep technical credibility with strong people leadership and a product-centric mindset.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, execute and communicate technology strategy and vision with the management, business stakeholders and the team
• Lead strategic planning and prioritization exercise across different functions, resulting in visible milestones and delivery timelines
• Lead, manage and mentor a team of architects, leads, engineers and testers
• Establish transparent risk and governance processes
• Ensure security of organization and clients’ data and confidential information
• Work closely with architects, leads, engineers and DevOps in establishing standard development and best practices, validate development approach and assumptions that underlie the project and sprint plans
• Build a performance-driven culture and drive it consistently

Required Skills:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Information technology
• Excellent communication skill
• Knowledge of technological trends in the software development industry
• Experience in AI based transformation, automation
• Hands on experience in working on engineering projects built on Microsoft and Opensource Technologies, AWS cloud a must
• Deep understanding of logical database design and development, especially in Microsoft SQL
• Must have experience in developing mission critical web-based products
• Must be an agile, scrum champion
• Must have thorough understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of open source technologies (PHP/My SQL/Python/Odoo) is preferred
