Rwindia is seeking an IT Head to lead technology strategy across retail and omnichannel operations, driving digital transformation through AI-driven initiatives, ERP implementations, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.

You will steer ERP platforms like SAP S/4HANA Retail, Oracle Retail, or Dynamics 365; build scalable cloud architecture on AWS/Azure/GCP; oversee POS, WMS, and ecommerce platforms;

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in retail leadership.
• Deep expertise in retail digital transformation and IT strategy.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML for retail analytics and personalization.
• Strong ERP experience across SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics 365.

Job Summary

The IT Head is responsible for leading the organization's technology strategy and driving digital transformation across retail and omnichannel operations. The role focuses on AI-driven retail innovation, ERP implementation, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, omnichannel commerce, supply chain digitization, IT governance, and technology leadership to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise IT strategy aligned with business and retail objectives.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across stores, e-commerce, and omnichannel platforms.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and store operations teams to enable technology-driven business growth.
• Implement AI/ML solutions for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, customer analytics, recommendation engines, and personalized promotions.
• Drive customer intelligence initiatives to improve conversion rates, basket size, and customer retention.
• Lead implementation, enhancement, and optimization of ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA Retail, Oracle Retail, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Ensure seamless integration between ERP, POS, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain, inventory, and financial systems.
• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Oversee e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and digital storefronts to ensure high availability and performance.
• Drive technology initiatives including Smart POS, RFID, IoT-based inventory tracking, in-store analytics, and last-mile fulfillment optimization.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, PCI-DSS standards, fraud prevention, and customer data protection.
• Lead IT teams across corporate offices, warehouses, and retail stores while managing technology vendors and strategic partners.
• Promote Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous innovation across IT functions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in leadership roles within the retail industry.
• Strong expertise in Retail Digital Transformation and IT Strategy.
• Hands‑on experience implementing AI/ML solutions for retail analytics, forecasting, and personalization.
• Strong experience with ERP platforms including SAP Retail, Oracle Retail, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail store technologies.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supply chain, and inventory management systems.
• Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of omnichannel retail architecture and digital commerce.
• Experience leading enterprise IT teams, vendor management, and large‑scale technology implementations.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, PCI-DSS compliance, fraud management, and enterprise security.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Certifications in Cloud Platforms, AI, TOGAF, ITIL, or related technologies.
• Experience leading large-scale retail transformation or store digitization initiatives.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as RFID, IoT, Computer Vision, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
