We are looking for an experienced IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations, provide
end-user support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of the
organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise
across Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu/Linux operating systems, along with good knowledge
of networking, hardware, software, and IT asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, OS, network, and system-related issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu/Linux operating systems.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve OS, hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues. commands, package management, permissions, services, logs, and troubleshooting.
- Handle macOS administration and troubleshooting, including system configuration, software installation, updates, security settings, user management, and hardware compatibility.
- Manage Windows administration and troubleshooting, including system configuration, updates, software installation, and user support.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and internet connectivity issues.
- Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including device allocation, account/access setup, configuration, and asset recovery.
- Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, software, and licenses.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, software installations, and IT applications.
- Monitor system security, antivirus/endpoint protection, OS updates, and basic IT compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, AMC, networking, internet, and other IT services.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records, configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting logs.
- Track and resolve IT support requests within defined timelines.
- Identify recurring IT issues and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and employee productivity.
- Support implementation and rollout of new IT tools, applications, systems, and infrastructure.
Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Support, IT Operations, or System Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu/Linux OS, with comprehensive hands‑on experience in system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and end‑user support.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience in IT asset management and user/access management.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage day‑to‑day IT operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
- Exposure to IT helpdesk/ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of endpoint/device management tools.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms and IT security.
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a mid‑sized organization.
